Dr. White's primary areas of research include teacher identity, 老师学习, 宗教和教育. Her most current research examines how preservice and inservice teachers develop and enact their professional identities to support learning and learners. One strand of this research examines how teachers’ religious orientations impact their 老师学习 and practice. Additional research interests include equity, diversity, and mathematics education.

Facilitate connections, develop community, and think critically. 与学生保持联系, 把学生们联系起来, help learners see the connection between what they are learning and how they can use the information in their future professional roles. Community-we develop a community of learners who contribute multiple perspectives so we all learn more together. Think critically-we focus on how to learn how to process and analyze information.

Through experiential learning and building relationships. I use a variety of learning experiences so everyone has the opportunity to contribute. And through all of these experiences, learners are engaged with the content and with their peers. Together, we make learning relevant and make sure the connections are clear.
